I first got the idea to get a window mounted bird feeder when I noticed Jack straining to see the birds outside of our kitchen window in Columbia, MO while eating breakfast. This would be the best gift for a nature-loving family! I had no idea how much both he, and our great dane Zelda would enjoy it. So far, we’ve seen Tufted Titmice, Chickadees, Blue Jays, a Downy Woodpecker, Purple Finches, House Sparrows, a Carolina Wren, and a Nuthatch. I really want to set up a shelf and a few hooks for our bird books and binoculars next to the window… but for now, we’re enjoying this amazing up close and personal bird watching experience from our kitchen table!
