i spotted these water droplets literally sliding across this little stream while on an assignment in lincoln last weekend. as i took a closer look, i realized the water droplets were covered in an oily layer. i’m pretty sure this is from the decomposition of the leaves. it reminded me of this post a while back – https://www.katiebarnes.com/2010/03/surface-tension-2/
