A photo from one of my favorite assignments at the Bellingham Herald. I was given the direction: Go to Point Roberts, WA (an exclave of the U.S. that you have to drive through Canada to get to!), and photograph nature. Um, yes. Thanks to Russ Kendall for the assignment. ;) Here is a favorite photo from that day… a rainbow appears over Boundary Bay while on a short nature hike in the Lily Point Marine Preserve.
