While I was on my way home from a super fun photo freelance assignment at the Henniker Community School in NH, I came across this scene in downtown Henniker. Current newspaper photographers – you’ll miss having a printed home for found pictures should you venture away from the world of journalism. :( Maybe I should change my blog title to “HOMELESS PHOTOS”. Hmmmm, that could be confusing I guess… At least my blog serves as a sort of shelter for my little visual discoveries now…

I completely feel you on the whole being a freelancer and no longer having the opportunity to really feature hunt, or have a specific home for your images.

I left my newspaper job five years ago and I totally miss my printed home for found feature photos. There’s a lot more that I miss, but that’s one of ’em.
They don’t print found photos any more. There’s no more space. Keep freelancing, Katie. It’s a happier place.
